The Absorption Door also plays a dual role as a key acoustic treatment, positioned at the first reflection point between speaker and listener to control early reflections and refine clarity.
While standard residential doors typically achieve an STC/RW (Sound Transmission Class) rating of just 35, Wavetrain’s doors are rated between RW43 for a single door or RW70 for a typical airlock solution, delivering significantly greater isolation for uncompromised performance.
