Lighting is a design tool mostly ignored in architectural design. In home cinema it is critical in not only creating a cinema experience, but also in not detracting from a movie. To often we see badly designed lighting systems that rattle, shine light onto the screen, have transformer buzz and penetrate the room's sound isolation system that the client has just paid thousands to install.

Wavetrain Cinemas have brought together a selection of lighting particularly suited for use in home cinema.

Fibre Optic Star ceilings - provide a night sky in your cinema. This is particularly effective with a recessed ceiling and cove lighting. It can be as simple as a twinkling star night sky or incorporate shooting stars and changing colours.
LED Lighting - provides accented lighting in tight areas. LED lighting is 24V, will last up to 100,000 hours and is easily dimmed. Perfect for step and cove lighting, LED lighting comes in white, blue, red, amber, violet, green and yellow.
Track lighting - provides task lighting for the cinema seating. These lights do not rattle and require a minimal ceiling penetration, which can be sealed to stop sound transfer from room to room.
Custom lighting - is required for projects where a personalised room environment is required. Wavetrain Cinemas will use our connections to source individual fittings to meet your needs.
